Who has never heard of Pippi Longstocking? Probably no one! That's why we are particularly proud that the creator of this character, beloved by young and old, and author of numerous other children's books, Astrid Lindgren, was a loyal guest of our hotel for many years. For the Swedish author of world fame, the secluded "Gletscherblick" was an oasis of calm where she could retreat and relax, unrecognized by all the hype surrounding her. A genuine friendship developed over the years.
